BVRLA rental and leasing members adhere to a mandatory Code of Conduct. This provides customers with the reassurance that the company they are dealing with is committed to delivering the highest industry standards of professionalism and best-practice.
We are a member of the BVRLA and abide by their Leasing Broker Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct sets out the standards that the BVRLA expects its members to achieve in all aspects of the brokering of leased vehicles and applies to any leasing transaction taking place in the UK. They carry out regular audits on all members to ensure that their standards are being met. Failure to do so will result in action being taken and may result in expulsion from the association.
Dealing with a BVRLA member assures you, the customer that you should expect the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
The BVRLA promotes ethical trading, clear pricing, transparent terms and conditions and high-quality vehicles and customer service standards. This code sets out the standards this its members shall comply with regarding:
The BVRLA is approved by Government as a Consumer ADR body under the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015 and members must participate in the BVRLA Conciliation Service, which provides a channel for members and their customers to help resolve any disputes that they may have.

The Financial Conduct Authority expects any intermediary to disclose to the customer that a commission may be payable by the owner or creditor to the intermediary, and, if the customer asks, the amount of that commission. The Financial Conduct Authority has made it clear that "commission" means any financial consideration.

We are a Commission Based Organisation which means that we receive payments for business introductions. We will receive financial remuneration which may be variable or pre-set dependent on the product and the volume that we place with that organisation. The amounts that we receive may vary.

To help us to investigate and resolve your concerns as quickly as possible please provide the following information:

If we can’t resolve your complaint within 3 working days of receipt, we will write to you and acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receiving it and confirm who will be dealing with the matter for you.
Once an investigation into your complaint has been completed, we will write to you with our findings and any proposed resolution. Our intended maximum response time for our Final Response is 8 weeks; this is in line with regulatory timescales. In the event that we have been unable to complete our investigation and fully respond to you within 8 weeks, we will provide you with an update at that time and inform you when we expect to be able to send you our Final Response.
Clearly, we would prefer to resolve any concern you raise with us directly. However, following the issue of our Final Response, or the expiry of the 8 weeks, providing your complaint falls within the jurisdiction of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) you may be entitled to refer the matter to FOS should you feel it necessary to do so.
Please note that should you decide to refer this matter to the FOS, you will have six months from the date of our Final Response letter in which to do so.
